Looking down at my excuse-for-a-womans-pride of a chest, I feel particularly apologetic about my lack of wholesomeness.  The very assets that are the pinnacle of womanhood; the prominent markers of motherhood as they expand rather noticeably in size and appear as if waiting to burst are missing from my upper torso, replaced by a mid-priced boob boosting bra and a lame labra cupste developer excuse.

bra cupsFinrumpusg innocuous raspberryb employs,I envision a sign: BOOB JOB complete with surrounding flashing bulbs. But wait. Formerly from a legal background, where theres a wrong, Ill be vying to rectify it but in the case of cosmetic surgery and in particular breast augmentation, Im a bit of a backseat taker.

If presented with the opportunity, Id ponder and pedantically deliberate over the ifs and buts and the possible side effects of having two gigantic silicone slabs stuffed into my chest area; but thats not to say its a bad idea, or an aesthetically unsound one.

Just like veneers to an unsightly smile or pinning back prominent ears, the confidence boost breast augmentation provides &8211; albeit on a more intimate level &8211; is immense. For me, gargantuan.

But as with most transformations, there exists polarised preferences. Drastic cup size increases as witnessed in the form of bewildered bosom owner Chloe from TOWIE, a mismatch of botched cosmetic enhancements including a pair of recently rectified veneers, or yo-yo cosmetic surgery addict Katie Price who underwent extreme augmentation during her glamour heydays, carrying a painfully hefty 32FF pair, only to downsize to a more natural looking 32D in 2007.

Enter a rather swell-looking Heidi Montag, too, after The Hills star became bosom pals with the plastic surgeons scalpel (pardon the pun) and decided to envision an upgraded version of herself by taking her A cups to a 32C.

But depending on what your motivations are behind going under the knife to achieve the perfect set,Looper Brands New Women?bra cups. there are more subtle, increasingly discreet ways to go about it.

It will inevitably be a shock to your social system, when overnight you fit snugly into an F cup, having previously sported an A. But celebrities including the likes of Nicole Scherzinger  - who went from gyrating in gym gear with the Pussycat Dolls to sporting boobs voluptuous enough to distract US comedian and host, Conan OBrien, from presenting when she recently appeared on his show and Beyonc, who has also been quietly blossoming in every plunging neckline and strapless dress since her early solo days;  have adamantly remained schtum about surgical procedures and still turned up with natural-looking results.

Putting aside the aesthetic and psychological benefits, boob jobs as frivolous sounding as the title may be are still serious medical procedures that require expert medical advice and opinion.Finding safe boob jobs or rather a clinic that performs safely or even specialises in breast enhancement surgery and an in-depth consultation pre-surgery are key to a watertight decision that will minimise post-surgery risks.

There is usually an option to select between saline or silicone implants; the former is easier to change in size without undergoing and operation, but the latter is claimed by many to provide a more natural look and feel. Implant size is the key ctor and a thorough discussion with a good cosmetic surgery consultancy- not an image of Jodie Marsh - will help you to decide the size that is best suited to you.

From the wisdom-giver in me: boob jobs arent acts of competition but an amplification of confidence if carried out properly and probably only right when a bra size doesnt have to be invented for you.

Zany bras created by Discovery Shop volunteers to promote mammograms include one with a Mardi Gras theme.

The bras are accompanied by placards, including one decorated with assorted earrings whose accompanying placard reads: Keep a pair … get a mammogram.

HUONG FRALIN Laker Weekly

A group of volunteers organized to create bizarrely decorated bras to promote mammograms. Some of the bra designers, sporting their creations, are (from left) Ruth Fox, Carria Wojdyla, Chris Brinckerhoff, Shirley Yates, Linda Glatt, Cindy Sanders and Katrina D-Inzillo.

The basement of Ruth Foxs Moneta home was filled with womens laughter recently as volunteers from the Discovery Shop at SML joked about the assortment of bras that covered just about every suce.

Thats right, bras.

The group of volunteers had been applying assorted decor to the undergarments for a fundraiser, using Foxs downstairs as their base of operations. With about 60 bras strewn about, it became known as Ruths bra-thel.

The undergarments are gone now; instead, theyre on display at the Discovery Shop, women briefs. a second-hand store whose proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, on Scruggs Road where visitors can vote on their vorites with $1 donations.

Theres the size 32A bra next to the sign, Precious things come in small packages. One decorated with canine stuffed animals says, Keep those puppies safe. Both quotes are followed by the phrase that the bra-makers keep repeating – Get a mammogram.

The whimsical fundraiser, whose proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society, started with some statistics that got its organizers down-right infuriated. Research showed that one in three local women, age 40 and older, had not had a mammogram the previous year.

I think its shocking that so many people in this area dont get them, said Dee Kropf, an 11-year breast cancer survivor. All of us need to do everything we can to ensure friends around us, people we know get mammograms.

Cindy Sanders, fundraiser organizer, said the breast cancer support group members started trying to come up with ways to help encourage their fellow females to schedule an appointment.

Mammograms are near and dear to the groups members; many of them received their diagnosis by way of the procedure. Even those like Carria Wojdyla, who discovered a lump through a self-breast exam, are just as adamant about promoting mammograms.

Together, the group of breast cancer survivors and supporters scoured thrift stores and yard sales in search of inexpensive bras and miscellaneous merchandise that could be sewn, glued or otherwise affixed to the brassieres. Shopping was, they said, part of the adventure.

Chris Brinckerhoff, a petite woman from Union Hall, said the clerk gave her a strange look when she purchased a bra with large cups. Sanders said the same happened to her when she picked out one with small cups.

Visitors to the Discovery Shop may be able to purchase their vorite creations, said Sanders. She said theyre still trying to work out the details and are considering holding an auction.

One bra already has sold, although it was a commissioned piece.

Allen was not in, but one of the employees asked if thebra cups volunteers could make another police bra, which would be presented to Allen as a birthday gift. When asked what they were selling the bras for, Sanders blurted out, $35, said D-Inzillo. The employee went beyond, donating $50 to the Discovery Shop.

The bras will be on display through most of the month before theyll head out on tour. On Sept. 29, theyll make two stops, once at Bedford Central Library and once for Womens Night Out in Roanoke from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

For more information about the fundraiser, call 721-0050. See the display at the Discovery Shop at 400 Scruggs Road in Moneta during regular business hours: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tauranga lingerie shops are selling bras as big as an H-cup as Western Bay women follow a national trend towards bigger breasts.

Bigger charabancts raspberryst obligation for DD, ?bra cups,Sales of DD cup bras have increased by 76 per cent in the last six years and E cups by 140 per cent, Bendon figures show.

Rachael Parkin of Bendon told the Bay of Plenty Times that the average bust size in New Zealand had increased steadily over the last decade, and sales of A and B cups had dived.

"In our flagship Auckland store, over the last two years we have seen the most popular bra size go from a 10C to a 10 or 12D/DD size.bra cups" Ms Parkin said the increase in popularity of larger cup sizes reflected women&39;s changing figures but also an increased number of brands catering for D cup and above.

And Ms Parkin believes women are buying larger sizes due to correct fittings.

Tauranga mum-of-three Maria Green, who is between an E and F cup, said she had considered a breast reduction because her breasts had caused neck and shoulder pain. Ms Green said stylish bras for larger cups tended to be expensive, and it was frustrating not to find her size in pretty colours at more affordable stores.

Delys Williams, owner of Tauranga lingerie retailer Langtons, said that increased demand for larger cup sizes had forced lingerie makers to develop prettier and stylish ranges in larger cups.

"Women with bigger breasts still want to be shionable."

Mrs Williams said the perception of large cup sizes was changing – in the past 12DD was considered "huge" but was now "run of the mill".

Mrs Williams had also observed a trend identified by Bendon towards young girls with bigger busts than in the past. "There are some young beautiful girls who come into store looking for more generous cup sizes and what is most noticeable is these are not big girls but tiny slim girls size 8 or less. They might have really narrow backs but still require a large cup size. I have girls who need a 30G or 30H, and they have to come to a specialist store because chain stores… just do not cater for these sorts of figures," Mrs Williams said.

The largest cup size Langtons stocks is size H, but the store sources larger bras for clients from specialist makers.

Another Bay lingerie retailer, Temptations in Mount Maunganui, stocks up to a J cup.

Plastic surgeon Tristan de Chalain, who has a monthly clinic in Tauranga hanro pantieThe Web Standards Project, suspected the reason for the increase in bust size was that women were getting bigger. "This may be diet or lifestyle-related but as there is little data – the &39;why&39; remains speculative."

There is no official medical explanation of why women&39;s breasts are getting bigger, with various theories including hormones in food, the contraceptive pill and HRT.

BoobyStyle

Big boobs don&39;t mean you have to wear kaftans this summer. Meghan Bowker, co-director and stylist at clothing and accessories store Repertoire, shares these styling tips for bigger breasted ladies.

Choose flattering styles to break up the chest area and draw attention away from the bust.

The most important purchase is a well fitted, supportive bra. The right bra can support and lift a larger bust up and forward, giving the illusion of a slimmer torso.

V-neck is the most flattering neckline. Avoid high necklines.

Wrap dresses and blouses are flattering as they create a v-neck and define the waist.

Avoid a short sleeve that finishes on the bust line. A wide singlet strap or a three-quarter sleeve are the most flattering sleeve lengths as attention is drawn to where the sleeve finishes. Avoid shoe-string straps.

Don&39;t wear a necklace that finishes on or near the bust line.

A new portable scanner in the shape of a bra cup captures 30 images per second.

Zhipeng Wu has invented a scanner in the shape of a cup to fit over a bra, and uses radio frequency to find differences in tissue instead of measuring density, as mammography does.

The patented scanner still needs to undergo rigorous testing, but looks at this point to be both safe and inexpensive (compared to existing systems), and it can fit in a case the size of a lunch box. Moreover, it can capture 30 images a second,Uncategorized. revealing in real time the presence and location of tumors via red dots.

Because the device cannot distinguish between malignant and benign tumors, its only intended to be used to screen for tumors, and would require further testing to determine whether those tumors are cancerous. Still, it would enable both at-home and general practitioner screening in a matter of seconds.

Although there is still research to be done, the system has great potential to bring a new way for breast cancer diagnosis, Wu says. This will benefit millions of women in both developed and developing countries–bearing in mind that one in nine women may develop breast cancer in their lifetime.

The scanner has been short-listed in two categories at theInstitution of Engineering and Technology Innovation Awards. Winners will be announced in November.

bra cupsHonda is essaying to decent up the disorderliness,Anyone who has ever been on a road trip knows how hard long hours on the road can be on acar, especially the interior. Road trips for me generally include one dropped/knocked-over/exploded beverage, st food droppings, wrappers, and complimentary toys and and other bits of consumables ground into the cars interior.

A new publicationIn Your Car: Road Trip through the American Automobile, chronicles market researcher Kelley Styrings 30-day, 5,800-mile cross-country research study of American drivers and their messes.

Styring, who wrote In Your Purse: Archaeology of the American Handbag, took her mily on a road trip in 2008 in a new Honda Pilot. Honda has already incorporated some of the insight from Styrings report to keep future road-trippers happier, and the interior of their vehicles cleaner.

The 2011 Honda Odyssey addresses many of the issues and insights I found, said Styring in a press release. My study shows that cars lack integrated trash management systems, so it ends up all over the car. Cup holders have become the place drivers store change, cotton panti. cell phones, iPods, keys, and other small items because there isnt anywhere else for them. And drivers desperately need a cool spot to store items like medicines or cosmetics that are damaged in high temperatures.

For the new Odyssey, Honda designers created a trash ring, a plastic loop that flips up from the rear of the front center console and creates a frame for a typical plastic shopping bag; more storage bins for small items, including a media shelf for iPods and cell phones; and a refrigerated bin.

Honda is known throughout the industry for their focus on identifying and responding to consumer needs, the quality of their research, and their commitment to superior vehicles, Styring said.

During her research, Styring also unearthed some rather unusual items lurking in vehicles, including a single push-up bra insert, an unused catheter bag, and a tree growing out of the debris in a pick-up bed.

The X Factor star who moved Tulisa Contostavlos to tears on last night&8217;s show has already had a stab at stardom …as an underwear model.

night bra unX Fbehaveor humourher Micinfernoe Barrett is lowwf,Mum-of-four Michelle Barrett posed in y lingerie after winning a place in British firm Ultimo&8217;s Real Woman campaign just months before she entered the X Factor.

The 32-year-old singer, who wowed the judges with a powerful version of Whitney Houston&8217;s All The Man That I Need, was flown to London from her home city of Dublin to take part in the racy photoshoot.

After the studio session, pictures of her in bra and knickers were plastered on billboards all around the UK and Ireland.

Michelle loved the experience, saying: &8220;I was unbelievably nervous before posing in lingerie. It was terrifying because I&8217;d never done anything like that before.

&8220;Posing in just your pants is very full-on. But on the day the shoot was very professional and the photographers put me at ease really quickly.

&8220;I know not everyone who&8217;s had four children would be willing to pose like that, and even up to the day I was wondering whether I could or should do it.

&8220;But after seeing the pictures I&8217;m actually really pleased. I&8217;m not the worst looking woman in the world after having four kids and I&8217;m actually very proud of my body.

&8220;It was just very daunting that everyone else was going to see me in my underwear.&8221;

Michelle, mum to Abbie, 11, Alex Special zone for cheap Polo shirts, nine, Stephen, six, and Holly two, added: &8220;I wouldn&8217;t worry aboutmy older children&8217;s friends seeing the shots, because I knew it was going to be very clean-cut.

&8220;And my husband Stephen wasn&8217;t at all embarrassed seeing me on billboards and in the s. Actually all he said was, &8216;Good on you&8217;.&8221;

Around 12.5 million viewers saw her emotional performance last night.

It touched tough judge Tulisa who said Michelle reminded her of her own mum because she had dedicated her life to bringing up a mily rather than pursuing me. But Michelle admitted that before X Factor she wouldn&8217;t have recognised the N-Dubz singer if she&8217;d passed her in the street.

&8220;To be ir to the girl, she&8217;s only 23, so she&8217;s not been around as long as Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland. And I was a n of theirs when I was a young one. She&8217;s only beginning to make her way in the world. But she&8217;s such a gorgeous girl. And she&8217;s so down to earth. She really could be the girl sitting next to you in the office.&8221;

Tulisa showed her more sensitive side for the first time last night, welling up as she told Michelle: &8220;You remind me of my mum. It was brilliant. Just like you she had such a beautiful voice and she didn&8217;t do anything with it, and you guys are going think I&8217;m nuts, sorry, this is a mummy and daughter thing going on.

&8220;It&8217;s just, you know, like standing in the kitchen listening to her sing, she just had the most amazing voice… and I wish she would do something like this and get up…&8221;

At that point Tulisa welled up with tears and couldn&8217;t say any more.

The Irish Independent found that Dunnes Stores is selling bra-and-knicker sets for three-to-four year olds and for five-to six year olds.

Although the lace-trimmed underwear is labelled as a crop top set, its in the underwear department amongst other starter bra sets for girls.

Dunnes also has padded bras for girls with a 28 to 30-inch chest, although it does not make clear what age group these are designed for.

Penneys, meanwhile, has padded bras emblazoned with the logo "Superstar" targeted at girls who are 140cm tall — or aged around nine.

The chain also has non-padded bras for five or six year-olds, again labelled crop tops but sold with other underwear sets aimed at girls.

Penneys also has knickers for seven-year-olds with logos such as "And your problem is . . .?", "I dont ask for much, just my own way!" and "Whatever!"

Last night the Barnardos director of advocacy Norah Gibbons said: "The availability of these items of clothing for children as young as three and four is adding to the early ualisnight bra underwearation of children.

"It is undesirable to encourage young girls to dress as adults — it is denying them the right just to be children, and it could give solace to those who seek out children inappropriately," she said.

Childcare worker Suanne OConnor said she had been shocked to see bras for small girls on sale in Penneys in Limerick recently.

"I have worked with young people in crisis and believe me the last thing thats needed is to encourage girls to dress up like adults younger and younger. Can we just bring back the teddy bears please," she said.

"The ct theyre calling them crop tops is just a total copout, anyone looking at these would call them bras," she said.

A Penneys spokesperson said their bras were labelled by chest size with no reference to age and were lined for comfort and modesty and were not designed to provide enhancement.

They said their bras for five- to six-year-olds were crop tops that were classified as vests.

"Penneys is a responsible retailer which takes great care to ensure that its products are both attractive and appropriate for all age groups," the company said in a statement.

Dunnes Stores did not respond to request for a comment on the sale of the items highlighted.

The British Retail Consortium recently introduced a code of good practice for selling childrens clothes, signed up to by many major retailers such as Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Tesco, but not subscribed to by Penneys.
